Description: An effective ADA Coordinator is critical to successful ADA implementation. This course will outline the functions of the ADA Coordinator position, the departments and community members the ADA Coordinator should interact with, and how the position should fit into the overall structure of a Title II entity.

Description: Any public entity with fifty or more employees must designate at least one employee to coordinate ADA compliance, generally designated as the “ADA Coordinator”. A designated ADA Coordinator is also used by business and industry in order to effectively meet ADA obligations. This course will introduce you to the responsibilities of a certified ADA Coordinator.

Working with community leaders, individuals with disabilities, and other stakeholders to achieve compliance. Establishing credibility and utilizing resources.
